In 2018, a true awareness emerged at Nouvelle Vague regarding environmental issues. We tell you everything here.

In 2019, we conducted a CSR audit through the organization Planet’RSE. After obtaining a score of 548 points corresponding to a “confirmed” level, the agency now aims for maturity and has since been committed to a process of continuous improvement.

In 2022, another CSR audit still through the organization Planet’RSE. We have made significant progress. Nouvelle Vague now totals 722 points out of 1000 and becomes a company with a MATURE CSR approach!

All our actions today are based on 3 angles, real pillars of each of our CSR commitments (Corporate Social Responsibility): the social angle, the societal angle, and the environmental angle.

In this article, we present the initiatives, commitments, projects, and concrete actions relating to the environmental angle.

REDUCING AND RECYCLING WASTE

• In 2019  we reduced paper waste by more than 50% by decreasing the number of bins – moving  from one bin per user to 4 paper/cardboard bins for the entire agency, which helped change behaviors.

• A Recygo contract with La Poste allows us to recycle all of our remaining paper sheets, while ensuring the confidentiality of our documents until their destruction.

• We have eliminated paper billing; all our invoicing is done electronically.

• We have signed a contract with Solutions Recyclage, they come to collect our waste (glass, plastic, cans, paper, batteries, cardboard) every month, as well as our masks which are converted into fibers allowing for the design of technical garments.

PROMOTING GREEN SUPPLIERS

• 100% of our printers have the FSC and PEFC labels.

• We have invested in new low-consumption premises that we have occupied since early 2019. Everything is designed for energy-saving.

MINIMIZING ENERGY EXPENSES

The electricity we consume is supplied by Enercoop, which guarantees us “truly green” electricity produced locally from renewable sources.

COMPENSATING ACTIONS

We conducted our carbon balance with Greenly and decided to compensate for our scopes 1 and 2 (2020). We contribute carbon to Greenly to reforest agricultural plots “Le Bois de Persais” located in Maumuson (44540 Vallons de l’Erdre).
